Embeddefi LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Fee Insider platform (the "Service"), a payment processing intelligence platform designed for payment processors, ISOs, agents, and merchants. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you access or use the Service.
By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service immediately.
This Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service and should be read in conjunction with that agreement.
We collect information in the following categories:
a. Account and Identity Information When you register for an account or are invited by an administrator, we collect your full name, email address, phone number, job title, company name, and role designation (e.g., Executive, Admin, ISO, Agent, Merchant).
b. Business and Financial Data As a payment processing platform, the Service processes business financial data provided by or on behalf of our customers, including merchant identifiers (MIDs), transaction records, settlement reports, chargeback data, interchange fee data, residual calculations, and Schedule A configurations. This data is provided by authorized users and pertains primarily to business operations, not individual consumers.
c. Usage and Log Data We automatically collect information about your interactions with the Service, including IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, pages visited, features accessed, timestamps, and referring URLs. This data is used for security monitoring, performance optimization, and product improvement.
d. Communications Data If you contact us for support, submit a ticket through the platform, or use the in-platform chat feature, we retain records of those communications including their content, timestamps, and associated account information.
e. Cookies and Tracking Technologies We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to maintain session state, authenticate users, remember preferences, and analyze usage patterns. See Section 8 for more detail.
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
Service Delivery: To provision, operate, maintain, and improve the Service, including authenticating users, processing data uploads, generating reports, and facilitating platform communications.
Account Management: To create and manage user accounts, process invitations, assign roles and permissions, and enforce access controls.
Security and Fraud Prevention: To detect, investigate, and prevent unauthorized access, fraudulent activity, abuse, and other security incidents. We maintain activity logs for audit and compliance purposes.
Communications: To send transactional emails related to account activity, system alerts, feature updates, and support responses. Where required by law, we obtain consent before sending marketing communications.
Legal and Compliance: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes, including financial data regulations, and to enforce our contractual rights.
Analytics and Product Development: To analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve the platform's features, performance, and user experience.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data to train third-party AI models without your explicit consent.
For users located in jurisdictions that require a legal basis for processing personal data (such as the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or California), we rely on the following:
Contractual Necessity: Processing is necessary to perform our contract with you or your organization (e.g., providing the Service you have subscribed to).
Legitimate Interests: We process certain data where we have a legitimate business interest, such as fraud prevention, network security, and product improvement, provided such interests are not overridden by your rights.
Legal Obligation: We process data where required to comply with applicable law.
Consent: Where required, we obtain your consent prior to processing, which you may withdraw at any time.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:
Service Providers: We engage vetted third-party vendors to assist in operating the Service, including cloud infrastructure providers, authentication services, email delivery providers, and analytics tools. These vendors are contractually obligated to protect your information and may only use it as directed by us.
Within Your Organization: Information you provide is accessible to authorized administrators and users within your organization's account, consistent with the roles and permissions you have been assigned.
Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice prior to such transfer and your information will remain subject to this Privacy Policy.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, subpoena, court order, or government request, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
With Your Consent: We may share your information for any other purpose with your explicit consent.
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Upon termination of your account, we will retain your data for a period of up to seven (7) years as required for financial recordkeeping and regulatory compliance, after which it will be securely deleted or anonymized.
You may request earlier deletion of your personal data subject to the exceptions described in Section 7.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
Access: You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
Correction: You may request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
Deletion: You may request deletion of your personal data, subject to our legal retention obligations and legitimate business needs.
Portability: You may request a copy of your data in a structured, machine-readable format where technically feasible.
Objection / Restriction: You may object to or request restriction of certain processing activities.
Withdrawal of Consent: Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal.
California Residents (CCPA/CPRA): California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, used, shared, or sold; the right to delete personal information; the right to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information); and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights.

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These measures include:
- Encryption of data in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher
While we implement reasonable security measures, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information. In the event of a data breach that affects your rights, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.
Embeddefi LLC is based in the United States. If you are accessing the Service from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. We take appropriate steps to ensure that such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws, including, where required, the use of Standard Contractual Clauses or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms.
The Service is intended for business use by adults and is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a minor without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. The Service may contain links to third-party websites, applications, or services (such as Clover, MX, or Salesforce integrations). This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access through or in connection with the Service. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of such third parties.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the Service, or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide notice through the Service or by email. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
